This one, courtesy of Rossa’s mother, is more in the nature of a question than a point of view – how do you see it affecting freedoms if they do fall off, is there a fiscal cliff anyway or is it all contrived bullsh?

Do we need to worry?

    International political power is proportional to financial power.

    To find out where the political power will go, look at who has the money.

    Will it impact “freedom”? Yes it will.

    Category Error.
    Nonetheless, reduction in spending IS required … like large surplus chunks of the US military budget.
    Um.
