Well, No, Nick, That Would Never Do…

Nick Clegg in the pages of CiF:

Everybody has been shaken by the death of Ann Maguire and the notion that any teacher should lose their life in the classroom. It was especially poignant because she was clearly such a widely respected and loved teacher. But in the aftermath of terrible events such as this we have to be careful that we don’t simply reach for headline-grabbing solutions that don’t necessarily work in practice.

Oh, perish the thought!

Or is it OK when you do it?

All the evidence I have seen over the years leads me to conclude that Mr Clegg is a vile creature. On the subject of free school meals, where was the clamour for this to be made compulsory? The day that the likes of Mr Clegg stop spending other peoples’ money on things they didn’t ask for and didn’t want, is the day I see some sanity return to the governance of our country.
