Dan smacks down CNN

I tried. I really did. But I can take just so much of an obnoxious, carping, interrupting, over-talking, LYING interviewer who is determined to ride roughshod over her interviewee. She is rude, insensitive and lacks ALL those qualities so oft’ claimed by shrill women like she of empathy, nurturing and conflict-resolution skill. She is a harpy and Daniel gave her far more time than she deserved.

    Watching that was painful.

That was not by any criteria an interview but a pre planned harangue peppered throughout with interruptions, distortions, accusations, and extreme rudeness by the woman.

DH should have abandoned the exercise after a couple of minutes telling that attack dog (sorry bitch)that if she and her viewers/listeners want answers then he must be allowed to give them in a calm and reasoned manner.
If not then DH should have told her – this “interview” is off, and that there would not be another opportunity with CNN unless and until they observe the usual courtesies of a.civilised conversation.

In my opinion the patience and restraint shown by DH paid off, in the sense that it exposed his interviewer as the vile, biased bitch that she is. She thought it was going to be a breeze to verbally destroy the guy in public and ended up getting embarrassingly slapped down herself. This interview told the viewer so much. If DH had walked out of the interview the viewers would have seen that as losing the argument and she would have won. Well done DH.

Only a man of resolute patience could have mastered his emotions quite so well or maybe, should Mr. Hannan have told her where to go, certainly I think so, albeit most politely.

    Me?

I’d have told her, “what damn business is it of yours?” and in a less polite manner, always bearing in mind that, she is a lady…………sardonic – moi?
