What You Think You’re Paying For….

…vs what they’ll spend your donation on.

Giving money to children’s charity ‘Childline’? Awwww, go on, you know you want to!

Those heartrending adverts about abused and neglected kiddiewinks, starved and brutalised by their caregivers, frightened by clowns and….

Wait. What?

In three weeks leading up to Halloween, Childline took 432 calls about the trend which sees people dress up as clowns to scare passers-by.

Some 139 counselling sessions on the subject of clowns were with children under the age of 11 and three quarters of those who got in touch over clown fears were girls.

A side bar story from the link above:

“A 16-year-old boy who carried out a “killer clown” prank in Berlin was stabbed by a 14-year-old friend who did not recognise him.”

Well, that’s one clown that made me laugh.

The ‘cousellors’ were no doubt three women to one man too.

We have to pay for it – anyway, don’t we?

We need to re define just what is a charidee and what is actually “Charity” or, ‘alms giving’ to use the old English as was.

Charidees like ‘Childline’ receive taxpayers dosh do they not and whether we like it or not, taxpayers are irrespective of their wishes have to cough up.

I’d defund charidees, ie sever the public money umbilical to make ’em real charities and only dependent on public donations – that would shake them all up and make them consider what is and what isn’t important.

Clowns will always be with us, but there is no real mystery: most of them can be found up at Westminster.

Hereward, I like your logic. Not all clowns are in Westminster*, but all in (The Palace of) Westminster are clowns.

*They also inhabit Town Halls throughout the country, amongst other places.

      Spot on!

Real charities that depended on donations from the public would not survive after they involved themselves in social engineering politics.

Where did these “Killer Clowns” come from? Did some misguided SJW release some from a Circus and they went feral, living out of dustbins and discarded custard pies? Surely they are not covered by the hunting ban and the old hunts can do us all some good. Group of horsey types, hounds and shotguns.. Clown “problem” solved.
