How We Are Viewed By The UN….

All flights between the UK and Sharm el-Sheikh were suspended after the suspected terrorist bombing of a Russian plane.

Since then the numbers of British tourists in Sharm has dwindled as they are forced to take multiple flights or a ferry.

*shrugs* So?

But now the UN wants Mrs May to reopen the route because of the “devastating” impact the ban is having on youth unemployment in Sharm.

Tell them to take the sex and travel option themselves, Theresa! If they clean up the country and kick out the Islamists, open the route. If not, no loss. There are better places for a holiday.

Even before the terrorist attacks, Sharm was a shithole outside the hotels. Tourists, especially women, were constantly pestered either to buy ‘genuine Pharoe’s testicles’, or some such tourist crap, or wanting money to show you where the beach was (you know, that big yellow landmass 20 yards in front of you). Theft was rife, mainly from young pickpockets, and we found it impossible to fully relax. There are so many nicer places in the world where you’re not made to feel guilty because you’re British as their plight and poverty is all our fault.

I must admit, I’ve never been. If one has to go to Egypt, why here? There’s nothing to see!

Why holiday where you’re not wanted? Let alone the danger in it now.
