Sure They Can, Frances!

Just not in bloody Kensington!

More than 1 million households living in private rented accommodation are at risk of becoming homeless by 2020 because of rising rents, benefit freezes and a lack of social housing, new research from Shelter has found.

The Tory ideal of a family being able to buy their own home is near fantasy: this study shows that rising numbers of people can’t pay even the lowest available rents to keep a roof over their heads.

I can’t afford to live in Kensington, and I certainly can’t afford to keep other people there.

Go north, where rents are cheaper. If that means the likes on Polly Toynbee can’t get cheap cleaners when she’s not in her Tuscan mansion, well, we all must make sacrifices…

Why don’t the likes of commie Toynbee build servants quarters onto their houses and let their servants live there for free?

One doesn’t make the Help family, my dear.

One pontificates about how awful it is for them of course, but one needs the cash, you see? The pulpit sanctimony doesn’t come cheap, you know.

Better still, have these people leave for their own countries. They mostly seem to be foreign welfare dependent characters who’ve had a free ride for their entire stay. We can’t keep them any more yet the state demands we take even more of these freeloaders.
