Google global partnerships

Google announced yesterday (20/03/18) global partnerships with thousands of newsrooms, all placed under an umbrella called the Google News Initiative. The partnerships include the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, and the Global Editors Network.

Google was founded 1998. Alphabet became the parent company of Google in 2015. Alphabet is a collection of individuals and companies (Trusts) such as Blackrock, Fidelity, Vanguard and State Street..

Here is Eric Schmidt, Chairman of Alphabet, and Lynn Forester de Rothschild at The Economist Group. The Economist Group labelled the acquisition of companies by investment funds such as Blackrock and Vanguard as being ‘Stealth Socialism‘.
