An EU levy for sharing information

Early days yet but one thing for sure is that no blogger I know is going to pay for links.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/05/31/save-internet-eu-moves-monitor-uploads-censor-memes-tax-links/

Breitbart was linked to just now but under the proposed new law, that would attract a fee because they might not want us to link. Clearly they would want us to link because it spreads the news but the EU says no, it doesn’t, Breitbart would not want that – it’s going to cost you, pay us.

A couple of days ago, I mentioned things the PTB had learnt and one of those was how quickly things can go viral and that they’d have to stop that to stop us.

They can – by demanding money to share information.

      Further thoughts:
Break the links before publishing. e.g. Whattheeff dot com
Use a VPN – location outside the EUgh.
Archive the link first to the Wayback machine then use the Archived link.

Might work? Whatever, I won’t be silenced!

European Cyberimperialism: Defeat the European Council’s Censorship Article 13

We have it seems about a month to stop the EU using their proposed “link tax” to finish the Internet off for Europeans. That is no blogs, no alt media – only the MSM could afford the link tax fees.

It is very urgent – the deadline is 21st June.

Everybody reading this -please read and spread as far as you can otherwise – kaput.

I presume that you can quote a website address without it being an actual link?

No, it still counts as a link.

Personally they can fu*k right off, What are they gonna do – imprison all 500 million of us for open defiance ?

Best advice right now – get yourself a VPN

“The European Parliament is to vote on the copyright proposal late next month, namely Article 13 of the ‘Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on copyright in the Digital Single Market.’”

““The European Commission and the Council want to destroy the Internet as we know it and allow big companies to control what we see and do online,” the website claims.”

    Spot the difference?

Do have a wander through the entire text of this proposal, it’s fascinating.

Then down the rabbit hole you go and you find the above rooted in this.

Why anyone believes staying within the EUgorgon is worth it is beyond me.

There’s a missing stage on your graphic. Before disposal, use the EU flag to wipe your arse.
