This Is An April Fool Right?

Workplace Parking Levy begins in Nottingham

A levy which charges employers for their staff to park at work has begun in Nottingham.

Employers with 11 or more parking spaces now have to pay Nottingham City Council £288 a year per space under the Workplace Parking Levy

Sorry I just don’t find it funny.

What?  It’s not an April Fool you say

Oh FFS

My advice if you are piano tuner, stock up on wire now, because there’s a shortage coming

If they are anything like the employers in Plymouth they will then charge their staff a minimum of £50 per month to “cover” these charges (admin fee included no doubt).

Just finished two posts on this very theme, if not this example. This has to be deliberate, right up and down the country. I believe the brief is to hound and badger people into losing their rag, so that they can be labelled as offenders and rounded up.

I mean, nobody can be this stupidly greedy?

    Can they?

Didn’t lardarse Prescott start this round of thieving off a few years ago? It’s not a new idea, that’s for sure and I’m pretty certain it originated with the last bunch of crooks.

It certainly started with them. I’m not sure it was actually implemented at the time, though.

LR, you’re correct, but my point is that these plans don’t ever go away, no matter how many times we tell the socialists that we don’t want them. Socialists are like rabid dogs, the only way to stop the thing is to kill it. Reason and normal behaviour are like water off a duck’s back.

I’ve invested heavily in piano wire and lamposts for some years now. I might be able to release a few kilometres to the interested.
