Oh yes. This I can definitely go along with.
    I was dispossessed in 1997.
I’m foggy on the details for medical reasons but a house bought for circa £20,000 in 1989 with a mortgage circa £18,000, after 8 years and with 2 of those being interest only, being on the sick, the house was repossessed.
Sold at auction, I was presented with a bill for circa £15,000.
I’m still being pursued for this debt! I suspect I will be pursued until death.
    They can just FUCK OFF!

Hang on – take politicians & banking elite to court to (finally) take responsibility for their actions. Fine.

Cancel everyone’s mortgage debt? Forgive me, but I must have missed the part where mortgage holders were held down and forced to sign their mortgage contract at knifepoint…

Taking responsibility for one’s actions should be a universal principle. Those who gambled and lost on their home purchase (discounting unlawful dispossessions, etc) should not be ‘bailed out’ – any more than the bankers in court…
