A development with which our country is at ease?

It’s always interesting watching Millipede E struggle to come to terms with facts rather than what he believes ought to be the case. Particularly over Labours massive blunders with immigration, political correctness and multiculturalism. As ever it’s a case of too little too late and missing the target as well as the point by a country mile…

BBC.

Segregation along ethnic or cultural lines in careers and neighbourhoods in the UK must end, the Labour leader is due to say in a speech later.
Ed Miliband will acknowledge that the Labour government did “too little” to tackle the “realities of segregation” in struggling communities.
He will emphasise his pride in “multi-ethnic, diverse Britain”.
But he will also say that universal proficiency in the English language is integral to his “One Nation” ideal.
Among his proposals will be banning those without high proficiency from some public sector jobs that involve working closely with people, such as home helps.
He will also say that local authorities should cut their translation services if that would protect their budgets for language classes.
“People of mixed race are among the fastest-growing group in the population of our country”, and this is “a development with which our country is at ease”, Mr Miliband will say.

Well he might be at ease with it, I’m not, well not with certain groups anyway, groups from countries with a culture and religion which are widely at odds with UK culture and who hate both the people here and our way of life (whilst helping themselves to our generous benefits culture.) It was Labour who opened the floodgates to people from outside the EU whilst blaming the EU for immigrants who came here to work. Scarcely a week goes by without some sort of headline involving grooming gangs, terrorists allowed to stay, hate preachers spewing their bile and telling us that all the problems they have with the world are somehow our fault. Though I rather suspect these aren’t the people Millipede E is on about, though Islam is definitely a mixed race thing being a religion after all.

No, I don’t think ‘at ease’ is the term I’d use for some mixed race or immigrant groups at all.

That said I am in favour of Councils not offering any translation services at all, the only people I believe should offer it are casualty services in hospitals and then chargeable if it turns out to be self inflicted. It should not be the job of the state to translate anything from English/Welsh in England and Wales, that’s the immigrants problem, not ours, if you can’t speak the native language proficiently then it’s up to you to provide a translator at your cost, not the states (taxpayer).

It remains to be seen how Millipede E will tackle certain ethnic or cultural groups who don’t want to integrate or partake in his ‘big society’ after all, acknowledging that your party was responsible is not the same as telling us how you’ll do it despite the inevitable resistance in your own party to any attempts to do so. For as certain as the sun will rise in the East there will be Labour MP’s who will fight tooth and claw to prevent any form of integration as they still believe they can rub the ‘rights’ (whoever they are) nose in multiculturalism even at the suicide of their own culture which some of them despise.

All in all it’s just weasel words from Millipede E, pride in the very elements which are destroying our society and no clue as to how to deal with them…

The Labour party was induging in corporate statism – they did what almost every guvmint since 1950 has done …
Crawled to the less-scrupulous “big” employers, who want immigration, because it cheapens the labour market, so they can pay crap wages to poorly-educated people.
Both main parties have perpetrated this fraud on all of us.

That does not make this most recent example any better, though, does it?

The Labour Party is socialist and socialists always view free enterprise as greed, so it is natural the Labour leadership can’t see it in any way as free enterprise but as gravy train and so they climb into bed with the worst elements of Them to f*** the ordinary person over.

So on both counts, one should never, ever vote Labour. Neither should one vote Tory or Lib Dem while this lot run the show.

Real free enterprise, the cornerstone of capitalism in its true form, the best form of society that’s been devised to date, the type which allows you and I to set up little businesses to feed our families, is not allowed by the socialist/statist/greed-corporatists.

The issue is not and never has been “capitalism” per se – it’s been the greed of socialists and the gangster corporations, abetted by the banksters.

It was all done deliberately. A New Labour henchman told us so himself. All part of the grand scheme they’re engaged in. Orwell, a man of a better more honourable left, said England is the only nation in which the intellectuals despised their own country and their own people. It was this “intelligentsia” which “reducated” our treacherous current political establishment. Enough of the turkeys still keep voting for Xmas. Soon the immigrant population will be large enough for the old white working class “donkey with a red rosette” “core vote” to be cast adrift by Labour and the left apparatchiks altogether; voters who the middle class Marxists who took over the old Labour party secretly despise anyway. They will no longer be required to pay even lip service to them, having served their purpose they can be ignored completely. Just like those in Blair’s north east England constituency. They have served their purpose of helping their worst enemies into power to transform their homeland completely – destroyed and corrupted its institutions, trampled on its freedoms, given away the very right to self government, and put in train an irreversible project to replace the native population.

Note how the Conservatives have cut their own core vote adrift.

Not so much “the” Conservatives but the quisling faction led by Cameron/Osborne/Clarke etc. People like David Davis are still respected by many.

Just out of interest, what language do people from non-English speaking countries rely on when they’re away from home? Is that Finnish-Thai phrasebook going to cut the mustard beyond Sawadee khap and Khob khun khap? Any signs you see are going to be in Thai or Latin script in a language you’ve only heard in Eminem songs, and it’s unlikely that any signs will say ‘Motherfucker’, so that’s no help. I suppose it’s possible to match the Thai script with something you have in your phrasebook, but it could become tiresome.

“the only people I believe should offer it are casualty services in hospitals”
And even then, consular assistance will come to the rescue.

Nature abhors a vacuum. If you offer something for free, people will take it. It serves Milliband’s purpose to pander to the lazy, the inept, the illiterate.

“People of mixed race are among the fastest-growing group in the population of our country”
I trust that the vast majority of these were born in wedlock, and are being brought up in a traditional family.

    @Mike,
you hit the nail right on the head. A similar phenomenon is taking place in Australia.

Still, I suppose at least the foreigners are not arriving with guns and bayonets like the Brits did in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Africa…

“for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap”?

Just a thought. Not a support of any policy.

“Segregation along ethnic or cultural lines in careers and neighbourhoods in the UK must end, the Labour leader is due to say in a speech later”

Interesting for the lack of any proposals to achieve this (in neighbourhoods anyway). Thus warm words and a wish list.

A friend of mine recently married an Indian girl in the teeth of opposition from her family. He is a single, solvent, educated, childless man and a fairly decent chap of her approximate age. Yet the reaction from her parents was pure Alf Garnett. Had she been Pakistani, I suspect the reaction may have been worse.

It really is up to incoming cultures to adapt as well as the indigenous one to be welcoming. Iranians by contrast seem to have achieved a reasonable balance of maintenance for the old traditions (Iranian New Year parties for example) with an acceptance of the host culture. I know scores of ’em and not a single one has married another Iranian. This is the key in my view. It is easy to hate a concept, much harder to hate actual people you know.

There are issues, but I wonder if Mr Ed can bring himself to say where they actually lie?

“People of mixed race are among the fastest-growing group in the population of our country”

Does anyone know if this is actually true?

There is far too much confusion of race and culture. A lot of it is deliberate by people who should know better, some of it is by people who haven’t thought about it.

I do not care about the colour of anyone’s skin; that is I do not care about it, I do not see it as a reason for positive or negative discrimination.

But I do care about the culture. By far the biggest problem we face from immigrants is Islam.
Islam is an evil poltical system that explicitly denies equal rights to non-muslims.

Avoiding this issue by bringing in race is very damaging to society.
Think about the TV, radio and press reports about ‘Asian’ men grooming white girls for sex.

Everyone knows it is not men from: China, Japan, Thailand, The Philippines. It is almost entirely men of Pakistani origin who are muslims. They don’t do it because they afre Asian. They are muslims.

    Race doesn’t matter, culture does.
