Weather modification

This has to be a wind-up, right?

New Phase of the Development Program (AARRP Phase 3)

The BRRAA is now reorganizing for upgrading to be the Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation Department (RRAAD). This establishment will be completed within 2011. The AARRD has been entrusted with the duty to take care of the national atmospheric water resources management.

The main responsibilities are to enhance or reallocate or redistribute rainfall to provide additional water for agriculture, energy, domestic consumption, industry, and conservation and also to involve in the missions to prevent or suppress of damage causing by natural disasters such as hail storms, forest fires, and smoke from biomass burning.

I googled BRAAA, for example and came up with this. Ok, so that was just some undergrad humour I suppose. What about this pdf:

Right, I took one name from the attendees, Jean-Pierre Chalon and googled him. This conference had links with something called IAMAS.

This is now getting a bit beyond a joke:

As the page header indicates, IAMAS embodies ten International Commissions and one international Committee. The overall coordination is provided by the IAMAS Bureau, which is responsible to the Executive Committee.

IAMAS is a constituent Assosciation of IUGG, the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics, and through it part of ICSU, the International Council for Science.

And who or what are they connected with?

Highlights of cooperation are the biennual IAMAS Assemblies, intermittingly together with one or two of the partner associations (as MOCA-09 in Montréal, Canada, or DACA-13 scheduled for Davos, Switzerland) and embedded into General Assemblies of all partners within IUGG (as 2011 in Melbourne, Australia, and scheduled for Prague, Czech Republic, in 2015).

Sheesh! These people are actually for real and backed by money:

weather mod

What the hell is all this? And don’t tell me any of the crazy weather around the globe … no, I’m not getting into that.

And did we have any referendum or MSM discussion that you recall on f***ing around with the weather? I mean, who appointed these people?

    Try asking questions about chem-trails.

And you question the validity of science, then start going tinfoil-hysterical about an [ admittedly large ] research project?

Go back to Yeshua ben Joseph, since you rbrain is palinly not switched to ON, please?

Cloud-seeding testing and attempts date back at least to the 1950’s

As does HAARP’s antecedents. Appropriate that you defend these loons, Greg.

And by the way, as I’ve said many, many times – I do not question science, I am for science, real science. I question your pseudo-scientific dogma as displayed in these things.

        HAARP is an research project.
        They publish, do they not?

        You know my scientific qualifications.
Do you have any, past “O” level?

Googling for “BRRAA” gets precisely NOTHING.

IAMAS are a “standard” international scientific forum & information-sharing outfit, as their web-site indicates.

[I’m editing this comment – anything in brackets is JH’s, as admin]:

[Ad hominem, by the OoL definition] is to say the person is something, rather than the behaviour and views.]

As far as I can tell, the King of Thailand appointed them. The Royal at issue here is not our royalty but Thailand’s. See

The spambot will eat other links, but they seem pretty open about trying to arrange for their rain to fall where they’d like it. No idea if it would work; the trouble is, if you’ve been commissioned by the King of Thailand to make sure it rains on the right fields, you might be reluctant to accept that the results have been no more than random.

The extension appears to be for real; their Min of Ag website has an English translation available.

The international stuff also seems explicable in the context that these are countries which would like to govern their rainfall and they’ve had a jolly fine meeting in Bali to discuss it. It might take a whole series of meetings in Bali just to agree the reporting protocols.

Which all makes perfect sense, especially if your rainfall has been behaving erratically ( I have no idea whether it has, or not, incidentally )

There were huge floods in Bangkok and other parts of central Thailand in late 2011 because the rain was much less than expected during the first part of the rainy season, so the folks controlling the dams held water back to refill the reservoirs, but then the second part of the rainy season had more rain than normal and they wound up over-filling the reservoirs and having to dump water downstream in the middle of excess rain. So yes, Thai rainfall has been behaving erratically. Expensively erratically.

Just as the 210cm of snow in and around Moscow which is unprecedented for over a century is all down to global warming. Try telling that to the people who were stuck in a 300km long traffic jam! After all that’s just frozen rain ain’t it? Just the wrong sort 😉

Mother Nature has been looking after this planet for millions of years, and in my view makes a pretty good job of it.

She takes into account all animal and plant life, not just a favoured few, and she creates the means for life to evolve, not just to cling on.

Man unfortunately has interfered with Mother Natures management of the planet, thinking arrogantly that we can control her, we can’t. We have rerouted major rivers, built dams of enormous proportions, blocked migration routes for countless species, destroyed habitats and turned areas of the planet into deserts (Sea of Aral) all in the name of military advantage, corporate profits or research.

Mother Nature uses all her resources to balance life, and in the main has the ability to repair herself. She allows small localised change, but this ‘research’ of seeding clouds, changing weather patterns and ‘managing’ Mother Natures life giving water supplies on a global scale will have huge adverse effects, on everything and everyone. Doesn’t really matter where you are, just look into the sky and see these aircraft at work every day leaving their trails of chemicals and aerosols behind.

There is an old saying which has been around for millennia in many languages which roughly translated says “You screw with Nature and Nature will screw you right back, and some”.

Do you really want to wait for the consequences before you wake up to what these idiots are doing.
