No you won’t

Cameron was blowing hot air yesterday by making promises that he simply can’t keep, but look good on the pages of the newspapers.

Mail. (usual caveats)

David Cameron is planning new powers to muzzle Islamic hate preachers accused of provoking terrorist outrages such as the killing of soldier Lee Rigby.
The Prime Minister wants to stop extremist clerics using schools, colleges, prisons and mosques to spread their ‘poison’ and is to head a new Tackling Extremism and Radicalisation Task Force (TERFOR) made up of senior Ministers, MI5, police and moderate religious leaders.
The high-powered group will study a number of measures, including banning extremist clerics from being given public platforms to incite students, prisoners and other followers – and forcing mosque leaders to answer for ‘hate preachers’.

What’s a definition of insanity? Oh yes, trying the same thing over and over in the exact same way and expecting a different outcome…
Appeasement doesn’t work, you are not going to be able to get the muslim communities to rat out their fellow muslims when truth be told they are fare more afraid of the extremists than they are of the government.
Also the EU and the European Court of Human Rights have time and time again rapped the governments knuckles for attempting any such actions via our courts. Hell we can’t even deport the scum, never mind get them silenced (Thank you Tony Blair)
Also, anyone want to take bets on any legislation suffering from mission creep? After all, if they somehow can pass it, you can bet that somehow or other it will be used to silence anyone the government don’t like, though I suspect somehow or other the real extremists will get away with it.
It’s the same time and time again, some atrocity happens and all we get are mealy mouthed phrases and legislation that takes away ever more of our civil liberties and nothing ever changes.

Sounds about right…

    Correct.

Look at the arrest of an angry and upset 85 year old woman who has seen her country change beyond recognition, whilst idiot Clegg selectively spouts from the book of poison and Choudhary gets invites to the BBC and C4.

      Quite right.

      http://gatestoneinstitute.org/3729/sweden-multiculturalism

Hundreds of Muslim immigrants have rampaged through parts of the Swedish capital of Stockholm, torching cars and buses, setting fires, and hurling rocks at police.

The unrest — a predictable consequence of Sweden’s failed model of multiculturalism, which does not encourage Muslim immigrants to assimilate or integrate into Swedish society — is an ominous sign of things to come.

The trouble began after police fatally shot an elderly man brandishing a machete in a Muslim-majority neighborhood. Although the exact circumstances of the May 13 incident remain unclear, police say they shot the 69-year-old man (his nationality has not been disclosed) in self-defense after he allegedly threatened them with the weapon.

Two days later, on May 15, a Muslim youth organization called Megafonen arranged a protest against alleged police brutality and demanded an independent investigation and a public apology.

On May 19, Muslim youths initiated a riot in Husby, a heavily Muslim suburb in the western part of Stockholm where more than 80% of the residents originate from Africa and the Middle East.

At least 100 masked Muslim youths set fire to cars and buildings, smashed windows, vandalized property and hurled rocks and bottles at police and rescue services in Husby. The riots quickly spread to at least 15 other parts of Stockholm, including the districts of Fittja, Hagsätra, Kista, Jakobsberg, Norsborg, Skaerholmen, Skogås and Vaarberg.

After two nights of spiraling violence, Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt appealed for calm, condemning the riots as hooliganism. But his plea (“Everyone must pitch in to restore calm — parents, adults”) failed to prevent more nights of unrest, during which Muslim youth set fire to two schools, a police station, a restaurant, and a cultural center, and burned more than 50 cars and buses.

Something bad has happened so the government must be seen to be doing something. The fact that invariably it is counter productive doesn’t matter. The government can claim to have done something. 🙁

I have perused a number of news reports about the Swedish riots and I am amused by the literary contortions the various writers undertake to fail to mention the one unifying element about the rioters. 🙄

Full Oshite Cameron will huff n puff and check his ratings, The Observer 13/5/07 Cameron on his admiration of Islam,,,If we want to remind ourselves of British values, hospitality, tolerance and generosity name but three there are plenty of British muslims ready to show us what these things really mean. not for the first time I find myself thinking that it is main stream Britain which needs to intergrate more with the British Asian way of life not the other way around. end of quote. I rest my case.

The problem is, who is an alternative, Milipede? Just think what he would do.

Something has got to be done,Teresa May wants more laws, laws are drowning us, something called courage might work, the insistance on gay marriage is the clue to an agenda which is being followed, who asked for it? more important who ordered it? find that out it may open your eyes. The French demonstrations, the Swedish riots, the protest march in Newcastle heard much about them. the BBC is the poison the runs through heart of Britain

XX a new Tackling Extremism and Radicalisation Task Force (TERFOR) made up of senior Ministers, MI5, police and moderate religious leaders…..

Also, anyone want to take bets on any legislation suffering from mission creep? XX

    Ah, yes. “Mission creep”.

They brought in similar “Measures”, for similar reasons, in Germany a few years back.

    What became of it?

Well. No “Hate preachers have even been INTERVIEWED, let alone arrested/deported. But, what they HAVE used the law for it to create “a task force to fight “Rechtsextremus” (Right wing “extreemists”).

    To understand that better;

Someone sprayed a back to front swastika on a Jewish grave. ALL the powers were pulled out of the draw at this “Right extremist abomination”.

Turned out it was a 14 and a 16 year old, who had found a can of spray paint in Daddys garage, and wanted to piss off Granny for not giving them money for sweets.”

It is STILL however “on the records” as “An extreem right race hate” case.

MUCH easier than risking a couple of riots by arresting some fucking sky fairy worshiping goat beard hej?

Second case. Someone sprayed a (again, back to front) Swastika on a “mosque”.

Again, all the powers were brushed off, and pulled out.

Newspapers FULL of this “Right extreem racehate terroris attack….

They were MOST fucking embarrassed to find the perp was actualy a Syrian muslim, pissed off at the sky fairy guy from the same village as him, “back home”, for something or other. NEver an apology. Never a withdrawl.

And, would it surprise you to learn, it is STILL on the records as a “Right wing race hate crime” anf the bastards have even got the cheek to tick it off as solved!!
