Yes, Yes, That’s What They All Say At First…

…because they think we won’t remember all the other times the slippery slope yawned below us:

…Ms Berger said Labour had no plans to widen the ban from cars to private homes.

She said: “That’s not what we are saying, we are talking about the very specific issue of children in a car that don’t have a choice which vehicle they are in that are subjected to levels of toxic smoke which are 23 times more toxic than in the home.”

But some will believe you. Your habitual voters. They, after all, will clearly believe anything.

23 times? Perhaps in an old jalopy without air intakes and all the windows closed.
She might not have noticed – probably driven about in a limo – but modern cars have air-conditioning, which includes the introduction of copious amounts of fresh air. In fact, with diesel exhaust particulates being highly toxic (and possibly even responsible for most lung cancers), it’s probably safer to be in a smokey car with filtered air flow, than on the pavement outside.

Who smokes in cars with the windows closed, anyway?

Another reason not to vote Labour — or enable another Labour government — ever.

I just hope that there are now sufficient people in our country who have had enough of this crap to tell the likes of Ms Berger to sod off.

Would this be the same people who suggested that adoption societies would have to provide children for adoption to homosexual couples, but this would not impact on any faith based institutions. The next thing is that all the faith based institutions stopped providing adoption services leaving only the government and secular providers in the field. Sorry Ms Berger you can rot in the nethermost pit of hell for all I care surrounded by beagles all puffing away on Navy Cut.

Wasn’t this “23 times” roundly debunked some time ago?

Ah, but it is a myth, and, like many myths, manages to cling on despite all the evidence against it (CAGW, Labour is for the workers, etc.).

This is in pursuance of one of Adolf Hitler’s favourite Policies. If you do a little research, it is surprising how many of the policies of the National Socialist German Workers Party are now accepted as good.

Check out the manifestos of the old Monster Raving Loony Party – many of their policies are now in place. RIP Lord Sutch – a man ahead of his time.

Mz Burger has some excuse. The poor lady has to struggle through life being paid only 76% of what a man is paid. Mind you we all know, as a fact – its a stitastic yer no an’ the Gummunt says it is – that poor people smoke more than rich ones, innit?
