Assisted Voluntary Return

Isn’t that lovely – on top of the immigration figures, our kindly government offers up to £1500 plus the assistance below to return to your own country, should you claim asylum and are refused:

Of course, you must understand that this is not our government asssiting you – they make that quite clear in the brochure. This is a totally independent, self-funded organization called Choice who is doing all this.

Phew – that’s OK then, I thought the taxpayer had something to do with this and that would be bordering on criminal, wouldn’t it?

So let’s look at Choice. It is administered by Refugee Action, a registered charity. So, completely self-funded, eh, even though it appears as a standard govt application form at the top.

And it looks very govt here:

And what’s this? Protesting against cuts. Hang on, how can there be ‘cuts’ if has nothing whatever to do with govt?

Nevertheless, here it is – cuts to the charity ‘sector’.

Isn’t that lovely – you almost managed to fool us there, govt.  Carry on, you’re doing a grand job.

Nicely researched, James. Could be a “sustainable” source of income for repeat asylum seekers, and of course for Refugee Action too. In the meantime I note that foreign aid for tackling global warming may go up to £600 million per year. Wow, that’ll tempt them to stay at home, won’t it 🙂

A case of, get benefits in the UK and if you don’t like it here, we’ll pay your way back and then give some financial help when you arrive back in Pakistan! Simply, a spiffing good show what! Oh yes indeedy it’s super duper……..Carry on raping – in their words, “white kuffar trash” and selling drugs while you here – Wot’s not to like?

Meanwhile, the NHS is broke, there’s no money so Gorgeous [George] keeps telling us………..obviously the billions we’re borrowing in our name but not on our behalf: is not assigned to be doled out to Britons.
