Kerry Smith

Seems to me Kerry Smith must stand down or be removed.

You can say all you like that this is gutter politics, dredging up something probably obtained illegally, that a man should not be judged by his choice of fruity expressions. In a fair world, maybe not.

But in a constituency UKIP have [or had?] a good chance of taking, there are too many non-voters and undecideds who will heed the deep-captured MSM as they come after our Kerry. Plus he looks unfortunately a bit like Nick Griffin.

That’s one issue. To actually think an apology will suffice is the height of lunacy. If you’ve done no wrong, you don’t apologize. If you consider those remarks wrong, then your judgment for the future is suspect.

The moment Kerry Smith apologised, he handed Dimbleby a BBCQT.

Kerry Smith has no choice but to stand down or be removed, now he’s apologized.

UPDATE 22:00:

Kerry Smith resigns as UKIP candidate after apologising for ‘offensive’ remarks in phone call

A few months ago it was said that the MSM would do all it could to defeat UKIP at the next election. Now it is happening. Any story that shows UKIP in a bad light is jumped on, without asking weather it is true or not.

I get the impression that all these stories do UKIP no harm at all. Perhaps voters will vote for them just because all the attacks show UKIP candidates to be just like them.

The people of this country have a choice to make, and soon.
Either they keep on swallowing the media bullsh!t or say no, I want rid of the triumvirate.
It really is as simple as that. If we continue as we are for another 20 years we will be ruled and policed by foreigners. We will be serfs and vassals.

I can’t understand why it is that such people as this twerp K. Smith who seek public office, would elicit such drivel or could be caught out so easily. Mother of mercy, and honestly their oral incontinence and lack engagement of little grey cells, so acting as adolescent yobs and with a half a shandy down their necks.

A prospective MP? Give me strength.

I know for MPs being accomplished liars is the primary requisite.

Alack, the opposition is not much and God knows, “that woman is a bigot” [aye it takes one to know one]. Yet, somehow that twisted narcissistic berk Brown rose to become PM. And with, the other lot not much better [Clegg – what a EU nematode he is].

But surely UKIP must, can, should select better candidates then this poor excuse of a human being.

Personaly I would rather have an honest buffoon to an accomplished liar and cheat as a MP.
      Far less damage.

There is some merit in that statement – too.

I think at this stage, the undecideds and never voteds are important in getting as many across the line as poss. UKIP has to be very careful with this. We’re very close to buggering up the LibLabCon grip on power and don’t want to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Um… hang on a moment. Isn’t this the same BBC that howled and wailed about ‘illegal phone hacking’?

UPDATE 10:00: Kerry Smith resigns. It was always unsustainable after the apology. Uncle Badger, you’re quite right – the hypocrisy and dirty tricks are legendary now and that’s what UKIP has to operate within. In the light of that unfairness, this situation could not have continued – their flank was exposed.

At least the ghastly Hamilton has gone – electoral poison that one. Perhaps the wonderful Nigel should stand there?
