Tomato; Tomahto.

When posting on a blogsite such as ‘Orphans’, we who write these sometimes provocative words can, unfortunately, not foresee what the future holds for us.

When I posted on the unfortunate truth that everyone in Great Britain has the same voting power, some thought I was being elitist, and although I was actually promoting a simple form of Alternate Voting,  I was misunderstood.

And then, folks, along comes Devon Boon, who really does prove my point. Besides confusing Osama and Obama, she also stated she watches CBeebies or hollyoaks, as she finds the news depressing. Truth be told, reading about Devon depresses me as well!

I don’t think there should be voting without contributing to the tax burden and immigrants should not be able to vote, preferably ever but at least they have been here for at least 15 years.

3 vote, 2 vote, 1 vote proposed by your truly at his place in 2007. Did not attract a lot of support.

It is simple. You choose how many votes you want, anything from zero to ten. To find out your tax rate simply add a zero.

She did say that she had never voted and wouldn’t know how to. There are some small mercies.
