Like following the Pied Piper to destruction

There are many ways to come at this and different levels at which the damage can be seen.

Leviticus 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

The first is the purely religious, the article of faith and this is summed up in that quote and in what I wrote at the other place:

This has nothing to do with opinion, it has nothing to do with libertarianism.

It is all in the definition – marriage, by definition, means a joining of man and woman in some sort of sanctity. In a broader, more historical and practical sense, it enables continuity for the family’s assets to be passed down in an orderly and legal way, so that the thieves in government and elsewhere can’t steal it.

It introduces the concept of dignity and decency to the picture.

Far more importantly, it transcends and overshadows any pseudo debate in the media or on blogs in this short time period now.  The eternal is the eternal and will reassert itself, like nature.

Commenter James Wilson, an American, added a much broader and necessary take:

Being quite removed from the Irish scene, it’s only a guess, and I’m guessing that this is an unserious vote which is essentially intended to thumb a collective nose at the Catholic Church for it’s revealed behavior over the last two generations.

And it is no coincidence that the pro-gay marriage sentiment is happening as marriage itself is failing. Marriage is now a terrible and fearsome bargain for a man to face. But the fact is, homosexuals do not have any desire to be married, and never did. That was one of the loudest boasts of the lifestyle. But they do like the power of putting propaganda in your face.

Perhaps one half of millennials believe one quarter of the population is “gay”. Mission accomplished. As you printed above, “The ugliness we see around us has been consciously fostered and organized in such a way, that a majority of the population is losing the cognitive ability to transmit to the next generation, the ideas and methods upon which our civilization was built.”

To which I add that it is certainly the aim of the rabble-rousers who caused this to bring down the Church, ostensibly for all the maltreatment of girls, the paedo scandals, the corruption in the hierarchy – in fact the things which the protestant beginnings were all about.

The difference is that this time, it is not people like Luther who want to throw out the corruption but leave the message alone – this is people who want the whole thing gone. They don’t make this call on Buddhism, on Hinduism, bottomless pits of money are not poured now into such campaigns on them.

It is only one religion and its power to free the individual from the State which is the issue here. It always was, from Roman times onwards. This is a subversive faith because it involves doing good to people.  The fact that corrupt or misguided people have got into it – see Welby, the Pope – is a valid criticism but that doesn’t touch the message and the message is what the PTB want killed off.

A more sociological take on it, reprinted from the Schiller Institute:

The ugliness we see around us has been consciously fostered and organized in such a way, that a majority of the population is losing the cognitive ability to transmit to the next generation, the ideas and methods upon which our civilization was built.

The loss of that ability is the primary indicator of a Dark Age. And, a new Dark Age is exactly what we are in. In such situations, the record of history is unequivocal: either we create a Renaissance—a rebirth of the fundamental principles upon which civilization originated or our civilization dies.

Yuri Bezmenov touched on it in the 80s:

They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You cannot change their minds even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.

In other words [for] these people, the process of demoralization is complete and irreversible. To rid society of these people you need another 15 or 20 years to educate a new generation of … common sense people who would be acting in favor and in the interests of … society.

[The aim is] to “change the perception of reality of [all] to such an extent that – despite the abundance of information – no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.”

This multi-stage process requires media complicity/mediocrity, control of educational policy, widespread corruption in politics and industry, and the unlimited money/credit of the international bankers.

The gays I know just want to be treated with respect and left alone unmolested to do as they do. Most people in the society do not feel they must go off and kill them.  This however, is not enough for the rabble-rousers – they want the faith which redeems the ordinary citizen and which offers hope in a non-Statist solution and way of living – they want this killed off and for the State to step into the vacated breach.

That’s what this thing is all about.  There is more than high politics in this – this is the destruction of society by a thousand cuts and the Irish have been taken in, as so many over here are and will be next, with Welby and the Pope cheering on, by all the faux compassion and tolerance the rabble-rousers pretend to and which people so naturally follow, as if following the Pied Piper.

They don’t give a damn, the evil muvvers who are doing this. Gays will be first up against the wall once the control is complete.  Yuri Bezmenov say KGB files which stated exactly that – once the useful fools had done their legal duty, they were targetted for the wall or for oppression, as the Soviet people were.

That’s where this is headed.

The Lord of the Rings is not a bad analogy. Sharkey has got into Hobbiton Ireland and the ones he wants killed off are Strider and Gandalf, the ones protecting the society from afar.  Kill them off and western society has no further protection.  It was what the Romans did with the Druids.

First in will be ISIS Islam, second in will be the global state. And an entirely unnecessary referendum kicked it off.

    Melanie McDonagh at the Speccie:

But one of its in-house dissidents – the impression of balance is desirable – is Breda O’Brien, a Catholic commentator, who rather put the cat among the pigeons with a piece on 9 May on the funding for the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network (Glen) and other lobby groups by a US organisation called Atlantic Philanthropies. The striking thing about the donations was not just their size – $4.7 million to Glen in 2005-11, nearly $475,000 to Marriage Equality; some $11.5 million to the Irish Council for Civil Liberties, 2001-213 – but that they refer to years before the referendum debate got under way. I can’t wait to see the actual figures for the campaign itself. By comparison the No campaign got by, I gather, on a shoestring budget of about 200,000 euros.

So when friends of mine found that when they entered a shopping centre in Limerick by one entrance on Thursday and left from the other, they were bombarded with leaflets from the Yes campaign, there was a reason for it besides spontaneous enthusiasm. One side could afford a PR campaign; the other couldn’t, though the papers heroically made the most of the tiny-by-comparison sums that US Christians put the way of the No campaign. The motives of Google for entering the fray are probably similar to those that made it take sides on the issue in the US; the referendum was on Friday, and you couldn’t open their bloody homepage without being told it was in favour of marriage equality.

I know one of the shy No voters, actually: a friend of mine whose devotion to the Fine Gael party can only be described as quasi religious but was viscerally opposed to the amendment and who didn’t actually hand out a single leaflet on the No side, because, as he put it simply; ‘I’d be expelled from the party’. The parliamentary debate was whipped, even though it wasn’t actually in the manifestos of the main parties other than Labour, whose idea it was in the first place. Oh and that goes for Sinn Fein too, that beacon of progressive, liberal values north and south of the border.

James, I’m reluctant to sound defeatist but I think matters worldwide have now gotten to the stage where man is incapable of defeating our enemy; I think we are going to have to let God play things out for us.

Jude is the shortest book in the Bible: one powerful page in the New Testament, immediately preceding Revelation.

It was true when he wrote it, truer with the passage of time. An excerpt follows:

1 I, Jude, am writing this letter. I serve Jesus Christ. I am a brother of James. I am sending this letter to you who have been chosen by God. You are loved by God the Father. You are kept safe by Jesus Christ. 2 May more and more mercy, peace, and love be given to you.

    A Warning Against Ungodly Teachers

3 Dear friends, I really wanted to write to you about the salvation we share. But now I feel I should write and ask you to stand up for the faith. God’s people were trusted with it once and for all time.

4 Certain people have slipped in among you in secret. Long ago it was written that they would be judged. They are godless people. They use the grace of our God as an excuse for sexual sins. They say no to Jesus Christ. He is our only Lord and King.

5 I want to remind you about some things you already know. The Lord saved his people. He brought them out of Egypt. But later he destroyed those who did not believe. 6 Some of the angels didn’t stay where they belonged. They didn’t keep their positions of authority. The Lord has kept those angels in darkness. They are held by chains that last forever. On judgment day, God will judge them.

7 The people of Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns around them also did evil things. They gave themselves over to sexual sins. They committed sins of the worst possible kind. They are an example of those who are punished with fire. The fire never goes out.

8 In the very same way, those dreamers pollute their own bodies. They don’t accept authority. They speak evil things against heavenly beings. 9 But not even Michael did that. He was the leader of the angels. He argued with the devil about the body of Moses. But he didn’t dare to speak evil things against the devil. Instead, he said, “May the Lord stop you!”

10 But those people speak evil things against what they don’t understand. They are like wild animals. They can’t think for themselves. They do what comes naturally to them. Those are the very things that destroy them.

12 They are like stains at the meals you share. They eat too much. They have no shame. They are shepherds who feed only themselves. They are like clouds without rain. They are blown along by the wind. They are like trees in the fall. Since they have no fruit, they are pulled up. So they die twice.

13 They are like wild waves of the sea. Their shame rises up like foam. They are like falling stars. God has reserved a place of very black darkness for them. He will keep them there forever.

Enough said. Dying ‘twice’ in verse 12 refers to physical death and to the death of the soul at the Final Judgement.
