Look, up there, a full squadron of flying pigs!

Well, well: its is a strange, strange day when I find myself in complete harmony and agreement with the Man himself, ‘The Son of Lenin’ and ‘friend of both Hamas and Pol Pot’, Jeremy Corbyn.

Jeremy, who for some strange and unfathomable reason, possibly connected with both the wilder pronunciations of David Icke and the fortune-telling skills of Gipsy Rose Lee from Surbiton, is almost a dead certainty for the position of the Leader of the Labour Party. I have ever had a long respect for both Corbyn and his colleague Dennis Skinner, more widely and tenderly known as the ‘Beast of Bolsover’. A deep respect and admiration for these two men, products of the old-style Labour Party which produced this type of politician; honest, incorruptible, incapable of back-tracking on a policy or a political belief or strategy which had been proven to be unacceptable to the voters. That type of Labour personality has almost disappeared from both Front and Back-Benches, filled as they now are with clones of either Blair, Kinnock or Milliband. Which is almost a good thing for Britain, because the voters of Britain have seen through the gauze curtain which is wrapped around the core Labour Party, and have decided that the Conservatives are just that little bit more trustworthy than the alternative.

But of course I digress from my first point, which is my surprise to find an alliance with the presumptive Leader of the Labour Party. Mr. Corbyn has many, many beliefs, most of which are diametrically opposed to my own, which are firmly of the Right. He believes fervently in the benefits of Socialism, I am opposed. He believes that the so-called ‘Austerity’ measures, imposed on us by Osborne, are evil and wasteful; I myself am still waiting for Osborne to actually implement any ‘austerity’ measures at all: ‘austerity’ meaning actual savings to the Public Purse: as he is actually borrowing more now than Labour ever did during their time in office. But on  one point, and one only, I agree with Jeremy Corbyn: I too am opposed to the truly wasteful expenditure of over £50 billion on the boondoggle which will be HighSpeed2

No one can be wrong all the time, even if they try, and certain members of the Labour Party try very hard. Every now and then they make a mistake, and get it right.

Unfortunately HS2 is not within the gift of Westminster to approve or disapprove. It is part of TENT and has been decreed it will happen. Our real government has spoken and it’s up to our psuedo government to ensure it goes ahead, rather similar to Post Office privatisation. If Corbyn was PM he would have no choice, other than quit the EU….hmmm..now there’s a thought. 🙂

Corbyn’s left-wing beliefs will probably make Labour unelectable for a decade. So what?
But his honesty and credibility will provide a much-needed welcome contrast with the obfuscators opposite in the House.
Dave & George will not enjoy being held to account – they’d rather have one of the other three lightweight easy-to-manipulate candidates.

Honest in open supporting leaders of a terrorist organisation responsible for the kidnapping, torture and murder of hundreds of innocent people (grandmothers dragged kicking and screaming in front of her children and grandchildren by masked ‘freedom fighters’, doing goodness knows what to her before they killed her and , in burying her in some outlandish place, denied her family the comfort of either knowing where her body had been disposed of, or allowing her a Christian burial. These actions were justified as they were for ‘the cause’. He is also a keen disciple of the principles of that other ‘freedom fighter’ Che Guevara, otherwise known as the Argentinian murderer, torturer and rapist who justified his actions because they were for ‘the cause’. Corbyn’s principles would have the unions running this country, strike taking place every couple of days, industry leaving to other countries, anyone earning over £100,000 a year moving elsewhere to escape the 95% tax rate he would impose on all such people, except his Labour followers and union leaders, of course. Derek Hatton, remember her?, would probably be Minister of (non) employment and everyone who had a job would be a civil servant.
Skinner is such an honest, man of principles, that he declared that he would resign his seat when he was 65 as he would not take a job from another man (r woman, Dennis, they have equality now). How old is he now? What is he doing now? Still MP for Bolsover I understand, where some bloke under the age of 65 is sitting in a darkened room waiting for the news that Dennis has popped his clogs so he can join the nominated few.
Like the majority of politicians, their occupation taints and corrupts them so they can only see along the tunnel visioned area in front of them which has little desks with increments, expenses, and privileges marked upon them. I would suggest that there are less than 10% of truly honest, honourable, members of the Houses.

Hmmm – I’m not sure it helps your point to describe in detail the way HAMAS murder people – you’re surely not suggesting Corbyn has blood on his own hands are you?
Did anyone make similar points about Ralph Miliband, who continued to support Stalin even after his atrocities were well known?

I still see Corbyn as the best (of a lousy) choice.

    Ed P,

I rather think the atrocities as described by Penseivat were actually carried out under the banner of the IRA, and of course, its’ blood brothers of SinnFein who now conveniently sit at Stormont.

My mistake – it could easily have been Ham-arse – there’s no limit to the depravity of these vile terrorist groups.
