The smile behind the Tiger

Please note that the ONLY person from the sadly blood-spattered Communist Dictatorship who really deserves the Red Carpet, the Carriage Drive up the Mall, and the State Banquet with Her Majesty is the man whose name dare not be spoken. His country has been invaded, his very culture has been despoiled and belittled; his picture has been banned from all of Communist China: but still they fear him so very very much.

Why? Because of the MORAL authority he bears, because behind that unassuming demeanour and that wonderful smile, he has a stainless steel backbone; and the knowledge that he is RIGHT!

Orphans Readers; I give you:-

His Holiness, The Dalai Lama.

I once read – but can’t remember the source – that “the Dalai Lama is the whitest man I’ve ever met”

He is a thorougly nice bloke. I’ve heard him speak three times and each time the passion, the sincerity, the courage of the man pours out of him.

It is truly sad that China won’t open a diplomatic channel. Both countries are maturing internationally. It would not be a loss of face and needn’t be public.
