Yes; indeed!

I have just checked my EuroMillions ticket against last nights draw; and I find I have won.

But I swear that my winning this cash will not change me; I will not allow it to influence my life, and possibly those near and dear to me!

Yup: all £2.90 of it

    Dear Mr Cunningham,

As winner of Euromillions, I wonder whether you would consider contributing to my personal charity? Its mandate is quite moderate, with the sole intention of enabling me to live in the style I aspire to.

If this begging letter meets with your approval, even the tiniest share in your £2.90 would be received with abundant thanks.

    Yours untruly.

I merely wanted to be first in the queue before other spongers and gold diggers read the article.
My need is personal and honest.
Don’t forget that by contributing to my charity, it will certainly help you maintain the notion of not letting the winnings change your life too adversely.

I won the lottery. I bought a load of houses and offered them at low rents to families so they could save for their own. I set up a trust to help a local charity. In all, I did something positive with it.

    Sadly, I then woke up.

Would it cover the price of a beer? If so, cheers!
