Nige steps down

UKIP leader Nigel Farage steps down

Don’t really have a post which could do justice. Have run some tweets, such as he needs to be knighted now and put in the Lords. Also that any who are so mean-spirited that they cannot acknowledge how far this man has brought the country are really to be pitied. The flawed hero.

Slightly sour note – Carswell grinning. Others tweeted, giving Nige his due. A statesman of this soon-to-be-great-again nation.

A peerage? Duke of Normandy perhaps?

We now have serious worries about who will succeed him!

As the man almost single-handedly responsible for the greatest political change in the UK this century (which will probably stay that way for its remainder), then I’m struggling to identify a national honour which could be considered in any way appropriate to that monumental achievement.

But then, HM The Queen can’t live forever……

Maybe not a politician as such, but he’s shown the shower of ne’er do wells who’ve led us into the toilet, what true leadership is.

Whatever Nigel does now, a heartfelt thankyou from me and mine, and the all very best for the future whatever he does from now on.

A thoroughly decent Briton, not many of his calibre about and we’re the worse for it.
