But You Seem To Be Doing Something After All, Shaheda…

It’s always amusing when a ‘Guardian’ hack takes out an onion for ‘the poor’ and unwittingly reveals why they are poor:

I recently spent an afternoon walking around Custom House, and everyone to whom I mentioned the name Tando told me horror stories. On their request, I shan’t give full details, but all were youngish women with children, shifted off Newham council’s waiting list into a Tando home.

Their issue? Well, it’s going to be familiar to any council tenant, I suspect:

Their complaints would apparently go unanswered, sometimes for days, and then when repair men came, their work would amount to cheap bodge jobs.

Yup! The public sector is famous for this. Why is anyone surprised?

Even as she recalled the details, tears came to Shaheda’s eyes.At the time, the 30-year-old came “close to a breakdown”, crying constantly and unable to sleep. One thought tortured her: “Because of these poxy windows, my son’s suffering so badly. I can’t get help from anyone. I can’t do anything.

Yet you apparently can breed. Why do you do this, when you can’t provide adequate housing for the children you already have?

Thing is, to the Left this isn’t the problem. They don’t believe the individual should provide for themselves. They think that you can do what you want however you want to and someone else should bear the cost as you get your way (as long as you agree with them).

The basic concepts of personal responsiblity, self discipline, effort and merit are non-existent for the Left. This is why the nation is in the mss it is.

Q). And what happens when those who are milked to death think “Sod it! It’s not worth it”.

      A). See “Venezuela”.
