Quaint or concealing something really quite nasty?

Similar in Iceland with the ‘Yule lads’:

pagan-figures

Those with long memories are aware that anything touting itself as harmless, e.g. the Merry Pranksters of the 60s, is more often than not a front for nasty things.

It may be an established festival but that doesn’t make it any less nasty, along the lines of The Joker in Batman, the Wickerman and that whole side of things. And I’m calling that evil, dressed up in joker clothes.

Essentially, it is controlled by people not there on the scene, they’re behind the scenes. An example is Timothy Leary, another John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas, a thoroughly nasty bit of work. He was the key to getting the pharma drugs out to Woodstock, while the fat one and butter-wouldn’t-melt Michelle pushed at Laurel Canyon.

Someone made those drugs and saw a vast profit, whilst the kids were turning on, tuning in and dropping out. It’s naive to put it just down to some mafia barons as there was social engineering going on here as well. As Yuri Bezmenov pointed out, the Soviets were in there too, using useful fools like Hanoi Jane, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy but there was homegrown horror too, coming out of Sandoz, Eli Lilly, Walter Reed General and so on [many posts passim around the net].

Plus the UN, never forget the UN in this thing.

Controlling oligarchies have always been at it, e.g. the Druids and their human sacrifices [see today’s upper echelons of the Masons], Lord of the Flies, the paedo elders of a south seas island I shan’t name – in fact anything not rooted in our boring old bourgeois tradition here.

While it’s obvious you don’t want to be anywhere near a middle-eastern or south-east Asian Muslim country, too many lightly pass over the vicious culture of paganism as part of the dark side, which also includes the ones mentioned above. Peace and love and really good things, man? You have got to be kidding.

And of course, our Judaeo-Christian tradition’s protection is swiftly being eroded, innit [posts passim]? Third generation of godless know-nothings with us now.

Now I’m not saying evil muvvers did not hijack the Church over time, via pointy hats, ritual and oppression, not to mention corruption, in the form of Crusades, the Inquisition, the French State v Church pogroms and so on – they did, it was quite a moneymaking racket – but public safety is all relative, particularly in our, say, post-war era.

Interesting that the global ‘progressives’ are constantly trying to undermine and alter the American Constitution and you can argue till you’re blue in the face about Republics being almost a worse form of government than democracies but the bottom line is that:

  1. It’s that Constitution, abused as it is by Obama, Hillary etc. which still protects, which is why they want it altered and Clinton has said she’ll introduce change proposals.
  2. Over half the people believe in it and when over half the people believe in something, e.g. Brexit, then it is pretty powerful.

You can play the wolf outside the sheep pen all you like, put up all sorts of arguments as to why we should throw off our protections but I’m not voting for them.

And then we come to the Man for all Seasons issue – Thomas Moore trusted the rule of law totally and look where those man-made laws got him – they were man-overthrown. But the law which they all paid lip service to in those days never altered and promised protection. Not my business whether you think it did or it didn’t.

William Roper: So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!

Sir Thomas More: Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?

William Roper: Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that!

Sir Thomas More: Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ’round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man’s laws, not God’s! And if you cut them down, and you’re just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake!

The bottom line, yet again, is that we don’t have much keeping us from the savages, it’s a far thinner line than we imagine. We’re better off with the least worst variant, which may well be a factor in the minds of the hordes of migrants coming here, to a place we roundly and routinely criticize. And that is ‘blameless bourgeois domesticity, to press Boris into service.

Call me bourgeois but I do not wish to be in with a bunch of people for whom my protection is a very peripheral, lightly-regarded matter indeed and at any time, some cult ritual can wreck or kill my freedom to live as I choose. People with very dodgy moral compasses, e.g. global hegemonists, are not anyone I wish to be within any proximity to, thank you.

In a similar way,I do not wish to go back to the time of Henry VIII or Stephen, even Queen Bess – very nasty for the poor in those days. The best environment is what we had and what is now being eroded rapidly.

Man or mouse?

The obvious next question is this climate of fear, of infantilization and pussification we currently have, vs standing up and making one’s own decisions. Just because you desire the rule of law to make it easier to operate in, it does not follow that you’re a timid mouse or one who cannot determine his own path.

It doesn’t matter what Presidents propose as Constitutional changes. They must be approved by 3/4 of the State legislatures, each by a 2/3 majority (if I remember the numbers correctly).

Once again, James, reasonable comments shared, I would think by all of your readers and probably most mature citizens. The trouble is that the younger citizens have through their entire lifetime been so strongly influenced by other voices that they will not see the compelling reasons for fighting against the new culture.
