Hmmm, How Can I Get Publicity Now My Five Minutes Of Fame Are Up?

Ruby Tandoh (Ed: Who..?) has slammed chefs including Nigella Lawson and Tom Kerridge in a twitter takedown of the “dull” and “nearly exclusively white” food industry.

The former Great British Bake Off star, who came runner-up in 2013, hit out at “horsey-maned rich girls” and “pompous ‘real food’ guys” in a string of tweets on Tuesday night.

Describing the industry as “boring”, Tandoh called for a shake-up of the food world and an increase in diversity.

“Hang on, that’s a great idea! Me too, me too!”

Food writer Jack Monroe has abandoned her bid to become an MP 13 days after she announced she was standing, saying she has been sent death threats in the post.

The left-wing campaigner said she feared for the safety of her young son and was suffering from “terrible” health.

Being a transgender vegan can’t be helping with that?

Pity Monroe’s child, despite the fact he can address the parent now as “Dum” or “Mad”.
