There is no such thing as a free lunch!

The most important failing of our modern society is the truth that our young, the very future of our Nation, are and have been ill-served by our education systems. They are badly taught, they have no idea what ‘discipline’ means, by either example or demonstration. The awful statistic that a fair percentage cannot even read or write when leaving school is not even blinked at. But the truly worst failure is the removal from every history which is presented to our youth of the bloody and carnage-ridden facts of Communism, of Stalin’s Red Empire; and of the life of slavery which millions endured under that totalitarian reign. Of a system which gave the K.G.B. the literal power of execution based upon suspicion alone. Of a system whereby, in the People’s Paradise of East Germany, border guards were literally rewarded for shooting their fellow countrymen who were guilty of the awful crime of trying to run, climb and crawl across a border strip laced with anti-personnel mines. When still a young man, serving in the British Merchant Navy, whilst berthed in a Black Sea port; I witnessed an act of cruelty so barbaric that the scenes still live in my memory; and wrote about it here.

Try telling the young voters of today that the Socialism espoused and promoted by their hero Corbyn has a bloody and grisly past, and you are either laughed at, or jeered and demonised. Try telling the young voters that nothing in this world is ‘free’, and you are stared at as though you have arrived from another universe. Try telling those same young voters that there is a very fine line between the Socialism which is pushed and clung to by Corbyn and his weird army of Union outriders, and an autocratic Dictatorship which brooks no opposition; and you are attacked from all sides on line, because they just do not like to hear the unvarnished truth!

And try telling these youngsters that the word Nazi is derived from National Socialism and they will not accept it, as they’ve been indoctrinated to believe all nasty/Nazi attitudes and actions are always right-wing.

And yet, information has never been easier or more accessible.

OK, so the kids know nothing about the horrors of communism because they have been deliberately kept ignorant of the facts. What then is Jeremy Corbyn’s excuse? Does he somehow fondly imagine that this time around a true people’s utopia will be achieved? Maybe all those other communist countries just weren’t trying hard enough.

The young, knowing nothing but plenty assume this is the way of things. Thus they continue to demand more be spent ‘for the good things’. Then when they’re older they realise their folly as arrogance is replaced with wisdom.

Alas they are then merely part of the cycle and their children in their ignorance and arrogance, vote for a free lunch that all too soon they will be paying a bll they cannot afford.
