Ken Craggs sends information on this Byline thing, something it seems is yet another scam by the old enemy:
What was apparently the World’s First Festival for Independent Journalism (Byline Festival) was held at Pippingford Park in East Sussex on the weekend of 2-4th June 2017. There is another Byline Festival this year, at the same venue, 24th – 27th August 2018 which is described as “a carnival of free speech & independent media.” The Byline Festival is hosted by Byline Media and the Frontline Club which is currently supported by a grant from the Open Society Foundation (George Soros). Byline Media & the Frontline Club have also hosted a Byline Festival in New York City, USA. Stephen Colgrave is the co-director of Byline Media and co-founder of Byline Festival. Peter Jukes is CEO at Byline Media.
In an exchange of tweets between Byline Media and myself, Byline Media have stated that Byline Media is nothing to do with the Frontline Club.
Here are my tweets that also contain Byline Media’s replies:
I also accussed the Frontline Club and Byline Media of being closely aligned with Reuters, but Byline Media deny it.

Thompson Reuters @TR_Foundation
The Byline Festival is obviously an attempt by professional journalists & others to spread fake news to independent journalists & festival goers.
What Ken has pointed out is that a bunch of these tosspots has called some conference, ostensibly about press freedom but it has nothing to do with it – it’s about the opposite and they hide that act behind the euphemistic or even meaningless names.
Beware of this type of thing – this is the old enemy tricked out in new livery. One needs these days to build a list of “untrusted” sources for oneself but to do that, it will have taken you some time.
Part of that is going to your “trusted” sources, the ones you’ve come to see as usually OK in most things but even then – be careful – it’s designed to get past our guard.
