Tommy Robinson is moved to Muslim prison

I’m astounded by some of the reactions to this arrest and incarceration – it’s by no means established that he did something wrong but hey ho, let’s say he did – rapists getting 6 month suspended sentences?

More the point is that that injunction on the press should never ever have been there, as the Independent pointed out.

But there’s something which trumps all of that. Do you remember last evening? What was the big news? Westminster rubbish, wasn’t it, about Remoan and Brexit. This morning’s press was full of it. And this evening is World Cup.

And what quietly happened in the background last evening with nobody noticing? Tommy Robinson who had been in a relatively secure prison in Hull has now been moved to a prison in the Midlands.

UPDATE: I do not believe “71%” of Tommy’s new fellow inmates are Muslim. It is more like 1 in 5. That is still high and higher than average UK prison population. There’s no need for us to disseminate incorrect figures when the real truth is bad enough.

Not just that but it is an open prison where any inmates can get at any others. Last night the Muslims were banging on his wall and chanting for his death. Now you tell me if that is humane, if that is right? For any human being – doesn’t even matter if it were Tony Blair – he still has a right not to be subjected to that.

This is, frankly, cruel and unusual – this is North Korea, Turkey, Thailand, not a supposedly civilised nation. Everyone and his dog knows what is about to happen and to the idiots who say he had it coming – why? Why did he? Everyone knows this is zero to do with contempt and all to do with the rallies.

And what were the rallies about?

1. Stop Muslim rape of children;
2. Free speech.

Niemoeller, people, Edmund Burke. Any Christians among you please put in a prayer tonight for his safety, because the State is sure going to do nothing to keep him alive.

    Thanks for heads-up.

This is a repulsive vindictive action by HMP, no doubt due to pressure from Gov’t & Judges.

Fingers crossed he manages, as before, to be put in solitary before he’s murdered.

May, Javid et al disgust me. They’re weak, but use their power of office to bully and intimidate.

Will any eyes open or any ears be unblocked?

Out cretinous government and (il)legal system are playing with fire – this will not end well for them should anything happen to TR.
It takes a lot to cause Englishmen to rise up against the state, but when they do…

‘rapists getting 6 month suspended sentences’

    Is this true?

If it is true please give citations; if it isn’t true please withdraw it and reconsider your writing style because making untrue claims seriously weakens any claim you make.

  5. June 14, 2018 at 12:51 pm

Quick look at dozens, this will do for starters:

You need to keep your eyes and ears open, not this three wise monkey stuff. Your first reaction – attack me, whilst my first reaction is to do a bit of exploring and reading.

    • James Strong
      June 14, 2018 at 5:27 pm

If you interpret a question as an attack then I wonder how you develop ideas in discussion with anyone and change your mind about things.

Now, here goes with a, mild, attack – you often make good points but your writing style is often poor.
I pointed out a failure in this area just a few days ago when you wrote about E&W law.
It’s not a widely used abbreviation and on first reading I struggled to understand it, and thought it might refer to Employment & Welfare. That is not my fault, it is your fault for using an obscure abbreviation that is most certainly not in general layman’s use.

I have made the point before, perhaps here but perhaps on other blogs, if a writer really believes he has something important to say then it’s wise to take care that the meaning is clear and unambiguous.

And if you make a claim, like you did here about 6 month suspended sentences for rapists, a claim that will shock or surprise many people, it is for you to provide evidence first, not for your readers to make a search that, for them, would be ab initio.

That is if you want to change minds.

However, if you want to preach to the choir and stroke your friends then carry on in your same way.

      You’re welcome.

Just spoke directly with Tommy. Situation is still very bad. Will release specific info this evening as soon as his legal team give the all clear.

    Just in:

Tommy Robinson: is now in Onley Prison, designated “unsafe”by Peter Clarke Chief Inspector of Prisons. UKIP Peer Lord Pearson has tabled a question to HM Gov asking ‘what steps they are taking to ensure his safety?’ He was moved from a safe prison to an unsafe prison. Why?

Rumours are circulating re which prison Tommy is held in, who he is talking to & his safety/well-being. Let me be clear – @CaolanRob, myself, the immediate family & legal team are the only ones in contact with him. Legal team approved: UPDATE: Tommy’s new cell consists of just a blue mat on the floor. The references in his file relating to him being a High Risk Prisoner were all removed and that is why he was placed on a wing many Muslim prisoners.

UPDATE 02: The Imam at the new prison was telling other inmates that Tommy was arriving the day before he was transferred. The governor and guards from both prisons had no idea of this move until the second it happened. Orders came from ‘the top’ to move him.

Prisoners were banging on the walls 'all night' and screaming his name. Death threats were echoing through the new wing. An 'official contract' has been put out to have him killed, within the prison. He is well but very concerned. End of updates as of 14.06.18— Caolan Robertson (@CaolanRob) June 14, 2018

If Muslims comprise a small number of the population, why is 20% of the population of a prison Muslim? This implies a simple truth: Muslims are a social problem.

  12. Bill
    June 15, 2018 at 8:03 pm

Tommy, sorry caught up in the fantasy for a moment, Stephen says there looks like a 70% muslim population in the wing he is being held in.

Tommy said it looked around 70% Muslim on his wing.— Caolan Robertson (@CaolanRob) June 13, 2018

Clarification that Muslim population is estimated to be around 70% on wing in which Tommy is being held, not entire prison.— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) June 13, 2018

So not quite the ‘muslim prison’ of the headline.

Tommy has switched lawyers. He now has a top law firm that is filing an appeal.

They are giving Tommy the world-class representation that he needs.

Blimey a top law firm, world class representation which must be working pro bono for now until the crowd funding kicks in.

But wait Ezra the white knight riding to the rescue.

“With the approval and authorization of the family, I have undertaken to cover all of the fees of Tommy’s new legal team.”

    And then he says this.

“I want to maintain the confidentiality of my conversations with the family, but I will tell you how the crowdfunded money will be handled, as agreed to by the family. 100% of all proceeds will be used to cover Tommy’s legal costs.”

So to be clear Ezra is going to be covering the legal fees with your crowdfunded coin he isn’t covering anything with his coin. What a star.

    • June 17, 2018 at 6:12 pm

Wait a minute. Levant is providing a tremendous service here. He – maybe not YOU – is able to crowdfund in the first place. So that’s one. Ezra Levant is also ponying up the money in ADVANCE. It would not do much good to crowdfund and wait until you have to money to hire the team of lawyers, would it? By then Tommy could well be a goner. So that’s TWO. Ezra Levant has done this before so he knows whom to approach. So that’s THREE. And if someone else were as good as Ezra Levant, why didn’t they beat him to the punch? There’s FOUR. He also knows and respects Tommy’s family and sought their approval and consent to proceed. That’s FIVE. Some did ask him if he was contributing. He said he had made his standard personal contribution of $100. If you contribute as much it will help a lot. So that’s SIX. Yes. What a star. Did you think it reasonable for any one man – in Canada, US or anywhere else – to foot the bill for Tommy Robinson’s unreasonable and unfair arrest? You think if it cost L100,000 (and it could) it is Ezra Levant’s sole responsibility to pay for it? You are just looking for something to pick on. You have an incredibly small mind. Maybe you can criticize or dislike Levant for some other reason, but in this he is doing a good thing that few others are in a position to do and no one else who might be has done. He has been on top of this – reporting it, willing to sue on his own dollar to lift the reporting ban in England. Where were you? Argue with the guy, don’t watch him if you don’t want to, don’t like him if you don’t want to, but at least give him the credit he deserves. He’s making good press on this effort of his and why not? That’s all he’s getting and he’s not asking that. He didn’t get it from you, anyway. He has a platform, he has taken the right stand on this and on many other things. It has come with a personal cost as well. He’s a positive force for good when and where we need it. So think before you disparage him. We need more unity in facing off with a terrible foe – not silly, petty back-biting. Grow up.

    • June 18, 2018 at 4:42 am

      1. Ezra Levant has the positioning to be ABLE to crowdfund.
      2. Levant is advancing the money necessary to get this started and time is of the essence.
      3. Levant has done this for Robinson previously so
      4. He has a pretty good idea who to get to represent Tommy.
      5. He knows the family and has their trust and confidence and permission to do this. (Do YOU?)
      6. Ezra Levant is successful but he doesn’t have unlimited resources so why would you or anyone else expect him to pay for Tommy’s legal fees? I’m sure Tommy doesn’t!
      7. Sure, this is good press for Levant – in some circles, but why not? It helps him to be able to be effective. If he didn’t have a public platform, if h weren’t a “star”, as you say, he would be no more able than you are to crowdfund for Tommy – which, by the way, makes allies in this battle for Tommy. Far better that thousands of listeners/viewers are involved in helping in this cause than some flip-side George Soros does the funding on his own. Half the battle is to have people on your side.

What Ezra Levant did was good and productive as well as smart. You can’t win this war if you aren’t smart. I give him a lot of credit. He was one of the first to take action to get the reporting ban lifted. (What did you do, by the way?)

Levant is doing what the rest of us can’t do. Let us give him all the help we can and full credit for his effort and the thought he is putting into this.

There is no complaint. Just the bleedin obvious, well to me at any rate. The people have been given a ‘hero’ they must rally round and protect by the state.
“The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.” Lenin.

    1. Tommy Robinson was not arrested.
    2. Tommy Robinson was not sentenced to anything.
    3. Tommy Robinson was not sent to prison.
    4. Tommy Robinson is not in prison.
    5. Tommy Robinson is a made up character.
    6. Free speech abounds. You and I are free to talk about whatever whenever in each others company. The instant that live sound becomes any sort of recorded or live media it ceases to be free speech.
That is the distinction which results in censorship and D notices, non-disclosure clauses, national interest silences, overt/covert propaganda.

All the evidence for the chain of events in Leeds comes from the ‘live stream’ which runs for an hour or so, almost all of it sees the presenter being filmed presenting unmolested by the authority that is the state and the filming crew members via twitter.
That’s it no third party or independent version of what happened despite pictures and video showing there were other people present, coming and going, during that live stream.
All chatter since then, including mine, has come from people who were not there.

No-one is stopping anyone from contributing to the legal funding drive, nothing is stopping anyone setting up their own, nothing is preventing anyone from going to the prison and having a chat. No-one is prevented from helping to protect a fictional character, support said character, funding said character etc.
