Blatant lies in a governor’s words

The Twitter version:

The blog version:

I’m a fan of a lady called Dana Loesch – she can be a bit rough but she make sense of things. She just did a tweet, a video, and part of it was this man Cuomo and he was blatantly lying.

He started by telling a gathering that you can’t make America great again because it was never great in the first place. That is astounding for a political leader in the US to say. Sure there are problems as every nation has but the truth is that the US is powerful by so many measures. And here’s this man saying this.

Cut to Dana and the look she gives is priceless. Then it showed a tweet he did:

DJT never said anything of the kind, the man Cuomo is blatantly lying to those fans. I don’t mean distorting, I mean lying.

Now readers, you know I tear strips off such people on the blog, even mock them but there’s a level though where I am shocked and dismayed that an adult human could stand at a lectern and say these things which are patently false, and then throw in all these feelgood words about what they will not go back to, as if DJT had said any of that. But these people ONLY see and hear people like Cuomo – he is their reality.

Dana Loesch just looked at the camera for a moment, dazed, then said the man was unhinged, blabbing on about things which were the classic definition of “strawman”, that’s where you attribute something wrongly, make out this is what he said when he didn’t.

Now we all know at this blog that these people like Cuomo do this and we tear strips off them but to actually see and hear it live – well, what appalled me was the blatant untruths coming out of an adult human’s mouth, I’ve never been able to handle that on a personal level.

On the subject of Twitter, each time I go in these few days, there are a dozen or so fewer followers – it’s bleeding followers. Tomorrow at 08:30 is a post on that – someone is systematically removing them and not just from me. Julia was given a warning. The Federal Communications Commission over there has just revoked Alex Jones’s radio permit.

Twitter is telling me they have not sent a tweet, they sometimes hold one back for a minute. Someone is censoring my tweets – I’m not important enough, these people are truly insane.

These things are just so openly wrong.

The left in NY have yet to put their money where their mouth is and give Manhatten back to the Indians. Even with ‘interest’ and ‘inflation’ on the beads and ax heads, it should still cost less than one day’s Mayoral security bill.

I rather lose you half way through. The twitter video waffles on about how America isn’t great. OK,that’s Lefty attitudes generally. Rubbish the past to pretend the grand Lefty future awaits. We know they’re historically illiterate. If they were not, they’d realise that they’re the ones who created the mess.

As for the nonsense of American exceptionalism, they’re not special at all. Americans are the global juveniles.

What has that got to do with the loss of twitter followers? Social media was always going to be a place for thugs, bullies and cowards. That’s why the Left love it so. We have this Shannon Coulter blackmailing and thinking herself righteous, and the boy Jones bullying. This is what Lefties do. It’s what they’ve always done throughout history.

Cuomo and rest of Left & MSM have lost the plot. Brexit & Trump never countenanced and not accepted – voters were wrong

A professional political class that treats the electorate with open contempt and a legacy media that does likewise

Good series of articles refuting American mythos here; it’s the latest one—part 15—but only the latest has links to each article back to the first.
Another good one here from Australian ‘professional historian and educator’(*) Nigel Davies: ‘The problem of (American?) politically correct history’. (* From his blog profile—not to be confused with another late historian of the same name (1920–2004), a British specialist on pre-Columbian America. He has a few good articles published in the Australian magazine Quadrant: ‘Ten Myths About the Phoney War’ and The Great Myth of Britain’s “Great Betrayal” ’ are available for free; his ‘Ten Myths About Operation Barbarossa’ is paywalled.)
