The fire at Notre Dame Cathedral began on the 11th of Nissan in the Jewish calendar.
On 15 April 2019 in the Gregorian calendar the alarm bells at Notre Dame Cathedral sounded at 6:50pm, which would have been 7.50pm in Jerusalem.
In the Jewish calendar, the old day ends and the new day begins at nightfall (sunset) which was at 7:07pm in Jerusalem on 15 April 2019. In other words the 10th of Nissan ended and the 11th of Nissan began in Jerusalem at 7:07pm which was just over half-an-hour before the alarm bells sounded at Notre Dame Cathedral.
The 11th of Nissan is the birthday anniversary of the deceased Lubavitch Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson who the Lubavitchers believe is the messiah. And that after the human body of Schneerson died, the spirit of Schneerson (the messiah) will continue to move from one specially chosen human to another specially chosen human until the third temple is built to provide a permanent dwelling place for the messiah.
