Calm before the storm?

We’re in a strange political lull, nothing really to write about, so went to Raedwald’s to see if he had anything new:

There is really nothing useful to be done for the next day or two. Nothing to analyse, nothing upon which to opine. We are waiting for Boris.

Across the pond, the maniacs appear set to impeach Trump despite all evidence to the contrary, the wicked witches in tears about how much they love him but are forced to.

Yeah, forced to in order to stop Barr they mean.  New poll has most Americans against it.

Let the fun and games begin.

Over here, Boris is fixated on the backstop, caving in on it, doesn’t seem worried about the WA2 also going through.

But as Radders says, we just have to wait.  Meanwhile, back over there:

Yes it is peaceful in Parliament just now, I saw Caroline Lucas sitting there quietly knitting I wonder if she was knitting something for the Speaker ?, a woolly jockstrap maybe ?

But there’s a treat in store later when Diane Abbott stands-in for Corbyn at PMQs – let’s hope there’s a question with numbers in it – it should be comedy gold.

You cannot give her a question with numbers in it as will be deemed racist or why her mirrors are made of stainless steel.
