Happy St George’s Day to England

The West Lothian question and the Barnett Formula are still live issues, despite the 2015 moves in parliament which pretend otherwise.

I asked a friend just now – do you know what day this is?

I asked – are you British, English or Salopian?

Well today’s England’s Day. Why do the English not celebrate their day?

Blank look, followed by a burst of patriotism.

Finally, awwww, it’s so nice of the United States to remember England:

Pour that man another cuppa tea.

You will incur the scorn and ridicule of Lady Nugee, Winkee, winkee.
A Scot, I honestly believe that the English have a lot to be proud of.
What was it that Johnson (no, the earlier one) said was the finest prospect for a Sctchman?

Well, it’s certainly not the road OUT of England!
