The Awesome Competence Of Our World-Class Civil Service Is Laid Bare Again…

The government has been accused of “cultural and moral insensitivity” for…

Oh, god! What now..?

…sending pork sausages and bacon to clinically vulnerable Muslim families who are shielding during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pork products, including tins of beans and sausages and lentil and bacon soup, which are forbidden for Muslims, have been sent to the most at-risk households under a £104m government contract run by a private firm.

They are also forbidden for Jews and strict vegetarian Hindus, but they aren’t the ones complaining, oh no. They barely get a mention. It’s the usual suspects, as always…

The Labour MP Imran Hussain said his most vulnerable constituents were having to choose between eating and their religious or ethical beliefs.

In a letter to Robert Jenrick, the communities secretary, Hussain wrote: “I want to be clear that this is unacceptable and deeply insensitive to our religious communities.

“The inclusion of these products is also not just culturally and morally insensitive, forcing some in the most vulnerable positions to choose between compromising religious or other sincerely held beliefs and eating, but yet another display of the structural and institutionalised racism in our society – where the views of minorities are either not considered at all or regarded as not significant enough to warrant intervention.”

It’s no such thing, but who gave this idiot an open goal to score several hat tricks? Why, the even dumber morons who drew up the contract, for not seeing this coming, and insisting that either all packages would be free of meat entirely, or that there’d be an option to select meat=free packages.

And who drew up the contract? Step forward, ‘world class’ civil service:

Bidfood, one of the largest food wholesalers in the UK, was awarded a £104m government contract in March along with Brakes, another distributor, as part of a £208m initiative to deliver food to the most vulnerable. The companies said at the time the boxes would “contain the same items, irrespective of whether they receive the delivery from Bidfood or Brakes”.

And they never thought it’d be an issue for the Legions of Perpetual Offence?

I got three free food parcels before I managed to get a delivery from Tesco. They contained stuff I don’t like or don’t eat (Anybody want some coffee? UHT milk? ReadyBrek?) I shrugged and got on with my life, I assume other normal people did the same.

And why are they still getting free food? The supermarkets have ramped up their deliveries and those, like me, who are most at risk have priority delivery slots available to us. Just cancel the free food and get your food from one of the supermarkets.

Yes, if there is stuff that you can’t use, either give it away, sell it or swap it with a neighbour. There used to be a saying, ‘Beggars can’t be choosers’ but nowadays everyone is so bloody entitled is seems that they can.

On the one hand it was a bit silly not realising that this would be a problem. On the other hand, we never stop pandering to these people so maybe it is time to say it was free you ungrateful bastards, if your stupid religion tells you to starve please do so and give the rest of us some peace.

Your last sentence says it all, neatly and succinctly.

Your Last sentence says it all, well nearly, you could have said go east of Dover and starve and get the F—k out of our Country. BLM and other mentally infected retards have turned our children’s lives into an endurance test and still this government escorts them across the channel so once they settle in they can do some protesting or the occasional mass murder

Why don’t these gobby Muslim complainants do what Britain’s poorer Jews who have received food parcels do, which is to swap with a friend or neighbour those things that Jews can’t eat with those that Jews can? I’ve been keeping my ear to the ground on this issue in the Jewish community and this ‘swap you this that I can’t eat for that which I can’ has been quietly going on. Strange isn’t it that it’s only the followers of Islam that are kicking up such an enormous stink about this when others on religious restricted diets are just dealing with things and making the best of the situation?
