Might As Well Say What You Mean…

…because we all know what you really mean by now.

They said big families looking after elderly relatives and living in the same terraced houses may be a factor in the increase in cases. Around a third of Blackburn with Darwen’s 148,000 population are from ethnic backgrounds, with a large Pakistani heritage population.

No, no. Not Japanese, Thais, Malaysians….

Councillor Saima Afzal said: “It should be a concern to anybody if any community is stigmatised and we know the facts are there, we are open about those facts.”

Really? Yes, that’s always what springs to mind, how ‘open’ about facts this community is…

He warned against analysing the statistics inaccurately as “they can be twisted any way you want to portray them”.

Heh!

“If you are going home and you are working and you are maybe not abiding by the rules as rigidly as you should be, and you go home and you are caring for a family member, or there are three or four families living under one household, because of economic reasons, or financial issues, and the Asian community do do that – they pool their resources together to help the whole family survive.”

By running a greater chance of catching and spreading a disease known to have a greater chance of killing your particular demographic?

Even Gloria Gaynor’s shaking her head at that one.

Once an ethnic group has a free pass, it can do no wrong. It’s free to disregard any laws, guidelines or edicts at will.

Any problems are therefore by definition someone else’s fault.

That’s the most annoying bit. I live in Darwen and since there has been talk of a further lockdown, people here are desperately trying to shed this ‘With Darwen’ bit. Darwen is a totally different town to Blackburn and we are a good distance away from the areas where these new cases are occurring. Darwen’s proportion of ‘Asians’ is tiny compared to Blackburn.
It is only because Darwen comes under the same borough council as Blackburn and they totally refuse to separate us from the stats, because racism. In reality, we’re no more affected by this than Accrington, Burnley or Preston

Ethnic whites used to wallow in the dubious praise of being told how “Tolerant” we are, not knowing the suicide gun was being loaded for us by our disgusting and corrupt politicians.
