Corruption in deepest Herts

Guest post from reader Andy5759:

From the print version of the Herts Ad. – I will attempt to type it out. Bear with me while I sharpen my thumbs.

It’s a letter to the editor, a reader asks the local MP to explain government expenditure on the following PPE contracts:

#  £252m to Ayanda Capital registered in Mauritius for tax purposes. PPE not delivered.

#  £186m to Uniserve. PPE not delivered.

#  £116m to P14 Medical supplies. PPE not delivered.

#  £108m to PestFix, with just 16 employees. PPE not delivered.

#  £107m to Clandeboye Agencies, a sweet wholesaler! PPE not delivered.

#  £25m to Luxe Lifestyle, no employees, no assets, no turnover. PPE not delivered.

#  £18m to Agents Solutions, total Assets of £332. PPE not delivered.

#  £10m to Medco Solutions, incorporated three days after lockdown, share capital £2. PPE not delivered.

I’ve only quickly proofread the above to ensure figures and names are correct.

I wonder just how many more such contracts have been dished out, in normal times as well as in an emergency, that have similar outcomes.

Auditors are needed urgently! The total of the above ‘contracts’ is £822,000,000

Some people (some large group of jobsworths in middle-level NHS bureaucracy) are taking micturatory liberties with OUR money, presumably giving it to their friends for kickbacks.
These scams must be stopped – the NHS is awash with funding and it seems a large proportion of it is being skimmed off (like in a third world country – oh dear, we have become one).

Do you want others to forward this to our MPs or is it too soon for that?

Not that my MP answers my questions but I shall send it to her if it adds pressure on them..

It does not need an explanation, its Legal theft, Plod will make it up by fines on people not wearing masks and visiting grandma.

Might be an idea to say something to someone.
